Why teams call us

Most sites are unmaintained until the day they break

Maintenance is invisible when it works, which is exactly why it gets cut. Then something goes wrong on a Friday.

Nobody has updated anything in months

Out-of-date plugins and dependencies are how most sites get compromised. The exploit is usually public and patched long before the attack.

Backups exist but nobody has tested them

An untested backup is a hope, not a plan. The time to find out it does not restore is not during an outage.

Your last developer is unreachable

Something breaks and the person who built it has moved on. Now you are searching for someone who can understand a codebase under pressure.

What we build

What maintenance actually covers

Prevention, response, and steady improvement, not just a monthly report that says everything is fine.

01

Prevention

The work that stops incidents from happening.

Updates applied safely

We test updates on staging before touching production. Automatic updates on a live site are how sites break at 3am with nobody watching.

  • Core, plugin, and dependency updates
  • Tested on staging first
  • Rollback ready on every change
  • Security patches prioritized

Security hardening

Firewall rules, access control, malware scanning, and vulnerability monitoring across your stack.

Tested backups

Automated offsite backups with periodic restore tests, so we know they work before you need them.

Uptime and performance monitoring

Checks every minute from multiple regions, with alerts to us as well as you. We usually know before your customers do.

02

Response

What happens when something does go wrong.

A senior developer on call

You reach a person who knows your site, not a ticket queue. Response times are defined in your plan and we hold ourselves to them.

Incident recovery

Outages, hacks, and failed updates handled, with a written explanation afterward.

Bug fixes

Included in your monthly hours, prioritized by business impact.

No blame games

We fix first and diagnose after. Working out whose fault it was can wait.

03

Improvement

Because a site that never changes slowly stops earning.

Monthly development hours

Included time for content updates, new sections, or small features. Unused hours roll over for a quarter.

Performance reviews

Quarterly Core Web Vitals checks so speed does not decay unnoticed.

Reporting you can actually use

What we did, what we found, what it means, and what we recommend next. Written for a business owner, not a sysadmin.

Roadmap input

A quarterly call on what to improve next and why.

How we monitor

Watched continuously, not checked occasionally

Monitoring runs constantly and alerts reach a human. A dashboard nobody looks at is not monitoring.

Questions

Website maintenance FAQs

The questions we get asked on almost every first call.

How much does website maintenance cost?

Plans start around [$300] per month for updates, security, and monitoring, and rise with included development hours and response times. Compared to the cost of one serious incident, it is inexpensive insurance.

Do you maintain sites you did not build?

Yes, and it is most of our maintenance work. We start with an audit and a stabilization phase, so we understand what we are taking on before promising response times.

What counts as an emergency?

The site being down, compromised, or unable to take orders. Those get immediate attention under every plan. Non-urgent bugs and changes are handled within your plan’s response window.

Are development hours included or extra?

Growth and Managed plans include monthly hours for content changes, small features, and fixes. Unused hours roll over for a quarter so you are not penalized for a quiet month.

What if we get hacked?

We handle recovery: isolate, clean, restore from a verified backup, patch the entry point, and harden against repeats. You get a written explanation of what happened and what changed.

Are we locked into a contract?

Plans run month to month after an initial three-month period, which exists because the first months include the heaviest stabilization work. You own your site, code, and accounts throughout.

Do you handle hosting too?

We can manage your existing hosting or recommend and migrate you somewhere better if the current setup is holding you back. We will tell you when hosting is the actual problem.
