UI/UX Design

Interfaces that feel obvious, because they were tested.

We are a UI/UX design agency for UK and US teams building web products. Research-led interfaces, design systems your engineers can build from, and decisions backed by evidence rather than taste. We also write the code, so nothing we hand over is impossible to implement.

Why teams call us

Beautiful designs that never ship are worthless

Most design problems we inherit come from the same three places, and none of them are about aesthetics.

The design does not survive engineering

Handover happens, then compromises pile up, and the live product looks nothing like the file. Usually because nobody involved could build it.

Every screen was designed from scratch

Six shades of the same blue, four button styles, and no pattern anyone can reuse. It slows down design and engineering equally.

Nobody asked the users

Decisions made in a meeting based on who spoke most confidently. Testing with five real users usually settles those arguments in an afternoon.

What we build

How we approach design

Research to understand, design to decide, and a system so it stays consistent after we leave.

01

Product & Web Design

Interfaces designed around real tasks, not around a moodboard.

Design that engineering can build

Every design we hand over is technically checked by the people who would implement it. That means realistic states, real data, and no ideas that quietly cost three extra sprints.

  • Wireframes to high-fidelity in Figma
  • Empty, loading, and error states designed
  • Responsive from mobile to desktop
  • Annotated handover for engineers

SaaS and dashboard design

Dense information made navigable. Tables, filters, and workflows designed for people who use them all day.

Marketing site design

Pages built around a conversion goal, with hierarchy that guides attention rather than decorating it.

Redesigns without the risk

We redesign in phases and measure as we go. Big-bang redesigns are how companies accidentally lose conversion they had.

02

Research & Validation

Replace opinion with evidence, cheaply and quickly.

Usability testing

Five to eight sessions with real users, recorded and summarized into a prioritized list of what to fix. It usually settles months of internal debate.

UX audits

A heuristic review of your existing product with issues scored by impact and effort.

Interviews and discovery

Talking to the people who will use the thing, before deciding what to build.

Analytics review

Where users drop, hesitate, or loop, read from real behavior rather than assumption.

03

Design Systems

So the product stays coherent long after the project ends.

Component libraries

A documented Figma library paired with coded components, so design and code stay in sync.

Design tokens

Color, type, spacing, and elevation defined once and used everywhere, including in the codebase.

Accessibility built in

Contrast, focus order, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support designed from the start. Retrofitting accessibility costs several times more.

Team enablement

Documentation and training so your team can extend the system correctly.

Our design toolkit

Tools your team already knows

We work in tools your team can pick up and keep using. No proprietary formats, no files nobody else can open.

Questions

UI/UX design FAQs

The questions we get asked on almost every first call.

How much does UI/UX design cost?

A UX audit starts around [$3,500], full product design around [$16,000], and a design system around [$22,000]. The variables are how many screens, how much research, and whether coded components are included.

Do you do design only, or build it too?

Both, and that is the main reason clients choose us. Because our engineers review the designs, you do not get a beautiful file that turns into a compromised product during build.

Can you work with our existing engineering team?

Yes, and we do it often. We hand over annotated Figma files, design tokens, and a component library, then run a walkthrough with your engineers and stay available during implementation.

Is user research really necessary?

Five to eight usability sessions typically cost a fraction of one sprint and regularly prevent building the wrong thing. It is the cheapest insurance in product development.

How long does a design project take?

An audit takes 1 to 2 weeks, product design 6 to 10 weeks, and a design system 8 to 12 weeks. You see work in progress weekly rather than waiting for a reveal.

Will the design work on mobile?

We design mobile first for anything customer-facing. For internal tools we design for the device the work actually happens on, which is sometimes a desktop with two monitors.

What do we actually receive at the end?

Annotated Figma files with all states, a documented component library, design tokens ready to drop into code, accessibility notes, and a recorded handover session for your engineers.
