How much does a custom web application cost?

Why MERN rather than another stack?

JavaScript across the whole stack means one language, a large hiring pool, and a huge ecosystem. That said, we use PostgreSQL over MongoDB when the data is genuinely relational. We pick per project rather than forcing one answer.

Can you take over an application someone else built?

Yes, and it is common. We audit the codebase, document what exists, and give you an honest read on whether to repair or rebuild. We will tell you when a rebuild is not justified.

How do you handle scaling?

We design for the load you realistically expect within 24 months, not for hypothetical millions. That means sensible indexing, caching, and stateless services, plus a documented path to scale further when you need it.

Do we own the code?
